Always so much fun when we go here, there’s a lot to do for littler kids and older. They have many trampolines, a basket ball dunking area, a gymnastics area, airbags, obstacle course, zip line, super trampoline, and lots more. Also they have recently added on a arcade so lots of fun things to do here. If you get hungry or thirsty they have vending machines and a concessions booth. The area is really good being across the parking lot from mr. Gattis pizza.
We took 2 of our grandchildren here, and they had so much fun!! Trampolines, zip lines, arcade! The staff were all helpful, especially one young man in particular, who showed the kids how to flip and jump. He was quick to help and very sweet.
The kids had so much fun! Two 7 year old boys and two 15 year old girls. All four had a blast. We didn't get food so I can't review that, but all of the equipment seemed in good condition. The foam pits were nice, the elevated obstacle course was fun for the 2 girls. The staff was friendly and there is plenty seating for parents.
Always lots of fun….. however. On a recent visit, I asked a Flight Crew Member if there were any more dodgeballs because there was only one in the court. He seemed very busy flirting with his Flight Crew girlfriend and responded with, “Huh! Nah. People were eatin them. You gotta look over there where they play basketball.” I responded with, “ok. So a non-employee has to go find them. Got it. Thanks for the help.”
Clearly he was very busy. So busy in fact that he couldn’t even use manners.
What’s the difference between this trampoline park and the other one in town by Bass Pro?? Well I’ll tell you.
I had a membership at the other location for over a year but would sometimes visit this park as well for various reasons. I now have a membership for my kids at this location so I’ve been to both more times than I can count.
While both locations have many similarities in common, there is a vast difference.
I’ll make this simple for you guys.
Airborne Extreme is cleaner, run better, and is 10X safer for younger children.
It’s safer because of the type of clientele that it draws,..much younger and higher quality(is there any other way to say it?).
While they both are run by a mainly teenage staff, the employees at Urban Extreme across town is VERY different—Think of it as more of a rude, prison guard attitude kind of difference.
Not all of them of course but it is with plenty of them. Even the Mgr who speaks very loud and rudely over the intercom constantly is obviously frustrated and hates his job. It’s a cultural attitude that is prevalent throughout the stall as a whole.
Oh and BTW, if you’re not out of the building by 5pm on Saturday, I can almost guarantee you that your kid will get jumped by a gang of thugs from some of the finest hoods in Baton Rouge,..no exaggeration.
Thankfully, Airborne Extreme has memberships available now as well so I immediately switched as soon as I found out.
While the park is definitely geared more towards a younger crowd, I feel much better knowing that my kids won’t be attacked by others 2-10yrs older than them like what happened across town repeatedly at the gangsters paradise.
Also, it’s not perfect at Airborne Extreme, but I’ve yet to experience a single rude, unhelpful employee (quite the opposite actually), nor can I speak of a single incident where I can point to a deficiency after numerous trips.
To sum things up, if you’re from Compton, you will definitely enjoy yourself much more over at Urban Air by Bass Pro.
And if you have younger children that don’t yet know how to defend themselves, then you probably want to bring them over here like I did.
Hope this helps👍
Loved our latest visit here… the place seems clean and was not too crowded. The staff members were nice and all the kids had a great time jumping. There are many different areas to choose from…and all of it is included for the one price at the door. You can also order food/drinks and sit in the area off to one side. Airborne even gives back to the community by working with schools to support events for them!
Great place to bring the kids. We came for a birthday party. There are lots of different things for the kids to go. Slides and zip lines. Sky coaster. Not just jumping around.
Love it! The massage chairs were a big plus. You do have to pay extra for them but totally worth it.
A fun place to take the kids, including my 42 year old childish self. Safe, clean, good for parties. They let adults, "supervise" the kids if they want to. Wich means I just get to play in an adult sized bounce house for a few hours.
Oh and the kids have fun too.
5 stars.
